Andy Schiller teaches at the Rocky Mountain Center for Musical Arts, as well as Robb's Boulder Music in Boulder, CO. He has performed in Carnegie Hall, with the Rome Festival Orchestra, the Aspen Music Festival, the Hawaii Guitar Festival, and the Adrian Symphony Orchestra. Andy holds a BA degree from Siena Heights University. He is currently earning his Masters Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Denver. Andy has earned his Certified Operator qualification in Pro Tools from Digidesign. The studios where Andy has engineered include: Strawberry Fields, AudioMatrix, Scharren Recording, the Musician's Union Studio in Denver, OhioMedia, and Omega 13 Records. "Horizons" is Andy's third CD of instrumental guitar music, which is available on CD baby. His other releases include "Impressions" and "Corridors".
Robb opened "Robbs Music" in Boulder Colorado in 1978. He holds a music degree from Oakland University where he played in the Jazz Band and studied Classical Guitar. He fronts the band "Big Daddy and the Blues Cats". He teaches Blues, Jazz, Classical, Rock, and finger-picking. He loves to teach people how to get the most out of their practice time so that they can get better, faster.
Erick is the lead guitarist in the band "Filter Mist" out of Greeley, CO. He has been playing guitar for ten years, and teaches rock on electric guitar. Some of his lessons include powerchords, riff writing ideas, lead versus rhythm, scales, and guitar harmony. Be sure to listen to his band on 93.3 FM from 9-10pm for the "Locals Only" show. Landon Thomas has been playing guitar for 10 years, is currently a member of the band Spear Ritual, and former founding member of the Northern Colorado heavy metal band Crimson Reigns. Currently he is persuing a music degree, with an emphasis in classical guitar, and giving lessons. In his free time he writes music and plays out with his band. He enjoys giving lessons because he gets to share the knowledge that he has gained with other people while reinforcing that knowledge in his own playing. Landon enjoys teaching speed picking, guitar harmony, scales and chord inversions, and songwriting techniques. Landons advice to beginning guitarists is: always persue music that you enjoy, rather than music that others expect you to play.
Brad Skinner is a graduate of G.I.T. in Hollywood, California, andspecializes in Jazz guitar. Formerly with the rock band The RestroomPoets, Brad is also adept at improvised rock soloing. He enjoysteaching chord melody playing, and teaches privately in Adrian, MI.
Tom Wasinger is a composer, arranger, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher based in Boulder, CO. Tom has received three GRAMMY AWARDS as producer of the Best Native American Music Album in 2003, 2007 and 2009. Tom also produced two other GRAMMY nominated records, one in 2001, and another in 2005. Tom has performed live in concert halls around the world from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall in Instanbul, Turkey. Tom's career as a teacher spans over three decades and has encompassed almost every style of music.
